September Favorites
I wrote this post out and then forgot to finish editing a bit of it and now here we are, haha. But September is my favorite month of the year and I might be a little biased because it is also my birthday month! I also started grad school in September so it was even more special. But because of that I feel like I don’t have too many favorites but I wanted to share them anyway
I picked up the tower 28 lipgloss when I picked up my birthday credit at Sephora kind of on a whim. I had heard good things and it was close to the counter so I decided to try. And I have worn it everyday since getting it! It’s creamy and soft, not sticky, it smells really good and the taste isn’t over powering! I love the color and it makes me want try more shades
I went to the bookstore for Ana Huangs King of Wrath book but couldn’t find it but they had the first of the chestnut springs books for buy one get one 50% off so I grabbed this cause it sounded good. Oh my god I’m obsessed with it! Single dad and the nanny. It’s so well written and super sweet. I loved the characters, Wanda was my favorite she’s a queen. I love Sophie she was such a good character. Overall I’d give it a 4.5
Destined with you is a Kdrama on Netflix that is still airing but I’m gonna put it as a favorite cause I adore it. It’s got fantasy, it’s a little historical with some past lives, it’s got a little murder mystery sprinkled in. It’s also so so funny and cute! I love both actors and thought their characters were great! He’s cursed she’s a secret shaman and doesn’t know it, she accidentally gives him a love potion and it all goes to chaos after but in the best way possible
I got the quilted dolman jacket from Freepeople for my birthday and it is the best jacket I own! It’s like wearing a cozy quilt and it’s the only thing I want to wear in the fall and winter. I get so many compliments on it! I haven’t taken any pictures in it but it’s so so good!
My favorite experience of this month was going to see three racha perform at global citizen. Even though it was pouring rain, I went by myself, and I wasn’t very close I’m so glad I went. I was proud of myself for going out of my comfort zone to go to an event like this alone and it was so much fun. The boys did an incredible job and I can’t wait to see them perform again someday, hopefully soon.
