Nara: I miss the Deer

One of the main things to do in Nara is to go to this temple with all of the deer around it. While I was there someone told me that the deer are the messengers between heaven and earth but I'm not sure if that's true. They are extremely cute though.

I went there during the summer when it was extremely hot so they were a bit lazy and were easy to take pictures with but I heard when its not as hot they're more lively. They also can bite so be careful to not put food in your pockets. But they're so cute and there are a lot of restaurants around the temple that the deer like to sit by so make sure to walk around and see them.

The temple around the deer park is called Todai-Ji. It holds this massive buddha and is really a beautiful thing to go see.
