Going to an Owl Cafe in Tokyo
I know there are probably a lot of people out there that will be upset about the fact that I went to an owl cafe in Japan but it has always been a dream of mine to hold an owl. I grew up in California and we had barn owls living near us and I loved picking up the feathers off the ground and watching out for them. I did a lot of research before going to this place and read a lot of the reviews about it before going.
There is a place in Harajuku that is an owl cafe but they do not treat the owls well and they have really bad reviews. This place had good reviews and the staff all really love the owls and treat them well.

The cafe is divided into large and small owls in order to keep make sure the owls feels safe. They also have vacation days so sometimes the owls aren't there or you can't hold them,
All of the owls have their own names and the staff will call them by their names and they'll respond. The staff will help you hold and help you put down the owls as well so you don't hurt them. They also only let in a certain amount of people per time slot at a time so it isn't over crowded. I loved holding the really big owls cause they were so beautiful. Some of the other people in our group were afraid but I loved it.
