Monday Moment: iHerb Experience
So I made an order with the website called iHerb recently. It’s like an online store for vitamins, food and beauty products. Its one of the places I’ve found to order or get foreign food easily in Tokyo. I think it is a bit weird that more foreigners living in Japan and Korea haven’t talked about it. I think its a much more reasonable price then at National Azabu or other places here. It also has free shipping if you order over like $45 which isn’t bad if you do your shopping all at once.
These are some of the vitamins I ordered. My naturopath doctor told me that most of the fish oil pills you can take aren’t actually the right amount you should be having. So he recommended I take this fish oil syrup instead. It’s really sweet mango flavor and it is really easy to take in smoothies.
The two vitamins are good for building up your immune system. And one of them is good for your stomach so I try and take both of them.
The other things I ordered were honey and cashew butter. I love putting honey on things but its over priced here. And I love cashew butter, I started drinking cashew milk instead of almond milk cause I can’t drink milk and I don’t like almonds. I then fell in love with the butter.
Then I got this whey protein for my smoothies too. I really like having a smoothie in the morning so I put this and the fish oil in with honey and frozen fruit and orange juice. Really easy and filling, for me at least.
Finally, I got oatmeal. Something that is so simple is so hard to get here and if you can find it, it can be really expensive so I ordered it online instead.
