Christmas/Holiday Gift Guide For Everyone On Your List
I can’t believe we are already thinking about Christmas and buying gifts for our loved ones. But here we are! I’m personally not putting up my tree yet but I am trying to plan and budget my gifting for the holiday season so I thought I would share this gift guide I came up with. I hope it helps you guys and happy gifting!
For Your BFF
You obviously know your best friend better than anyone else, well at least me, but here are some ideas that I like to give my friends. I like giving hats, you can never have enough hats when its cold out in the winter. This herschel one I thought was such a nice and unique color. I also love the idea of the reusable makeup remover pads because if your bff wears makeup its something they’ll be able to use everyday. I love giving gifts I know my friends will use.
I love these little books that urban outfitters and other bookstores carry. They come in a million topics and I think if you can find one that your friend is interested its a really unique gift to add. I got my friend last year one about constellations but I think this house plant one is so cute!
Down below I listed this ice roller, which is so popular on amazon and instagram. People describe it as a mini face lift and a face depuffer. I haven't tried it myself but it’s actually on my list. Another beauty gift that could be good would be some kind of face mask, this one from bioclarity would be a great one!
Finally I think this journal/calander is a really nice gift. Whether you’re in school or busy with work I think physically writing things down is really important and its nice to carry around or have on your desk.
For Mom
I always try to spoil my mom around her birthday and the holidays, a little thing to say thank you for everything. I saw this facial steamer on amazon and thought it would be such a nice gift to pamper your mom. My mom doesn’t like to pamper herself that much but this is something she can do at home and enjoy anytime she wants.
I got my mom this muji diffuser two years ago for christmas and I think it was the best gift I ever got her. Since then I’ve bought her a second one in the bigger size. They’re really easy to clean and use so I think that is why she loves it so much. She loves having it run in the kitchen and in her room.
I know one thing my mom loves but doesn’t want to “spoil” herself with is cashmere. I think this one from everlane is a really good option if you want to treat your mom and keep her cozy all year round.
I know for a fact that my mom loves to cook and host parties and I love fish’s eddy. If you’re in the city definitely pay them a visit and look at their store in person.
Finally, Sephora has these really great gift sets and I thought this drunk elephant one was a really great option but there are definitely other sets that are really good.
For Dad
A go to gift for my dad is always these Roots Canada sweat pants, he loves these and they are so cozy. Another gift that I like to give my dad is a robe, my dad likes to be cozy and I don’t think you can have too many robes.
Kiehls has a line and section for men, I don’t know if a lot of people know this but I think it’s really cool. I think I’m going to get my dad some of the shave cream or the silk groom. It’s something they’ll use all the time and probably something from a brand they’ve never tried.
This isn’t necessarily a dad thing but a tech thing that could work for everyone, but my dad is a huge tech guy so I always try to get him things that can help him stay organized or keep his desk organized. I love this bento stack tech organizer because it’s so helpful for when he travels. I also love this four port charging station, i think it would be really great to help keep your desk organized.
For Him/Boyfriend/Husband
Ok this might be a weird one but, my fiancé loves socks, like cool looking socks. Last year I got him a pair of pendleton socks and he wears them so much I have to wash them in the laundry like twice a week. So I definitely want to get him other colors like them. I think that cute hat is also a good idea, similar to the best friend hat.
Similar to the charging station for your dad I think this one is a really good idea for your partners nightstand. I know my fiancé never remembers to charge his phone at night so this is a great idea and has a good storage space. There are also charging pucks which are a good idea. I gave one to my fiancé and he uses it a lot.
Ok this one might be a weird one but my fiancé actually was looking for something like this. In Japan taking a bath is a big thing and my fiancé and I love to take a bath before bed to stay warm. My fiancé jokingly said I wish I could drink beer in the bath or the shower and have a place to hold it. Well, I found it on Urban Outfitters and I immediately put it on my list for his christmas present.
I also think this book is a great gift, it’s really cool and I know my fiancé would love it. He loves to travel and plan our next adventure or trip.
My fiancé loves cameras and photography, I saw this and I want to get it for both him and me because it’s so handy. I think that it could also just be a good bag organizer.
This is something again my fiancé has asked for and its a bit weird but he really wants a karaoke microphone for at home.
For Coworkers
I find gifting co-workers is the hardest thing ever! I always have a hard time gifting for either secret santa or white elephant in the office. I tried to keep these neutral or office focused. The things above are just cute little things to keep your desk organized. Tape dispenser.
I love these cable bites. They’re from Japan and I’ve had them from Japan for a long time. They help keep your cord different from others and it helps keep them from breaking
I love this notebook set to personalize and make work a bit more colorful or pretty and not so boring and bland. It’s really cute and something they’ll use all the time. You don’t need to get this pattern but a notebook set would be a great idea.
Everyone at work needs to eat lunch or snacks so I think these stasher bags or these cute to go bowls from Fish’s Eddy are a great gift for the office.
This desk calendar is also a way to personalize someones desk and make it more colorful. I think it’s also a way to not get overwhelmed by your computer calendar.
Gifts Under $50
These mini emergency kits are so cute! They have them for men and women and even mini drink kits for traveling. I think they’re such a cute thing to put in your bag.
I love these cute little decorative bowls to hold my jewelry on my nightstand like my rings or my earrings. They’re great to hold everything and anything that needs a home.
Luggage tags, passport holders or little wallets like these are such a cute gift to give someone! I love these nyc coin purses.
I mentioned above the Sephora beauty gift sets. I think that this First Aid Beauty set would be a really good idea. They have a whole section under $50 that I would check out.
