My Current Skincare Routine
My skin has recently cleared up a lot so I wanted to share some of the things that have worked for me. I know everyones skin is different so these might not work for you but I thought I would share incase it could help others.
I also thought I would share the order you should do your skincare. I’ve always read to use the lightest items to the heaviest. Cleansers-> toners-> serum-> eye cream-> spot treatment-> moisturizer-> face oil and then sunscreen in the morning. I didn’t take a photo of my face wash but I use a cerave one.
I switched toners because my other one had BHA’s in it so I didn’t want to many on my skin with the next product listed. I really like this toner, it’s light weight and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. I love korean products for my sin care and I like that this toner has no fragrance to it.
I got this recently to help with some texture on my skin and I think it’s been helping but very slowly. I wish I had something stronger and I think for my skin I’ll try something new next.
I’ve been using this hyaluronic acid from trader joes for about 6 months now and I really like it. If you have one you like let me know I’d love to try it.
I’ve incorporated a vitamin e oil into my routine for a while now and I like the results I’ve been seeing. The first one I got was from trader joes, this time I got this one from my health food store but I don’t like the smell because it is so strong of almonds. I think I’ll use it through but try another one next time.
I started using this pm lotion recently and it has changed my skin so much! It’s help reduce my acne scars and makes my skin feel amazing.
I did an entire blog post on eye creams and to be honest i don’t feel like I ever see much of a difference, until I used this one. It’s very thick and creamy and I think it’s really helped me. It’s also not very expensive which my wallet loves!
This chapstick has saved my lips this winter. It doesn’t have much of a flavor but I wake up to super soft lips even if they were cracked and painful the night before. I want to get the laneige lip sleeping mask to compare the two.
During the Day I don’t wash my face I just put this face lotion with spf 30 on under my makeup. I know I should be using 50 but I haven’t found one I like that doesn’t leave my face oily.
