Things I’m Doing While I’m Self Quarantine
I’m hoping a lot of people are taking the time to self quarantine themselves to stop the spread and protect themselves from the virus. I thought I would share some of the things and resources I’m using to help me get through this.

Remi Ishizuka or Rrayyme on instagram is also doing daily live at home workouts in the morning with her boyfriend if you want to follow along and do it with them
2. Clean and Organize
I am taking this time to take care of my space and clean it and organize all of my junk. I am also taking the time to switch out my winter and spring wardrobe and see what things I won’t be bringing into the new season with me.
3. Self Care
I am taking this time at home to focus on me. I’m exercising every day to improve my mental and physical health- I do the exercise above and some other workout videos
Drinking a lot of water
I’m not going to wear makeup for two weeks to help my skin and see what happens
I’m going to meditate to help me remain calm during this stressful time
4. Learn something new or improve a skill you already know
I am taking this time to learn how to edit videos in Premier pro, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do
I also have a sewing machine I’ve had since high school and now I’m going to learn how to use it. I’m starting with taking old pieces of fabric to learn how to use the machine
I know how to embroider but I’m going to spend this time practicing and improving my work. I have some old t-shirts i don’t wear anymore I can practice on
5. Be creative
This goes along with the new skills, if you don’t already do it, but now is a good time to paint or draw and really be creative
I’m personally trying to be more creative with at home photography which I am loving! I also am trying to color or take time to let my creative brain out
6.Start a side hustle or business
I’m going to work on my blog and youtube, which could someday become a side hustle, because I’ve always wanted to focus on it more and now that I have some more time I can
I’m also in the process of working on creating two businesses with my mom, which is so exciting, and now that we are self quarantined together we have a lot of time to work on them!
7. Take the time to rest
This is an extremely stressful and anxious time for everyone and that can really affect your immune system so taking the time to sleep in or sleep early is always a good idea
There are so many more things you can do like watch netflix or youtube but I thought those could get boring and these could be fun alternatives! I will make a list next of shows I’m loving on netflix and other websites!! Let me know what you guys are doing to get through these crazy times
