My Intentions for 2021
I’m not a big fan of setting New Years Resolutions. I find that every year I set the same goals for myself but that half way through the year I have dropped them. This year I’m taking the first few days of the year to sit and examine what I learned from the past year and what I wish to bring into the new year. I’ve decided to set more intentions for myself and the year.
I was also inspired by Carly Rowena to set monthly goals for myself. This month I want to start posting twice a week on my blog and once a week on my youtube channel. I also want to start making an active effort in exorcising more. I’ve been going on walks with my husband and changing my views about exercising.
My intentions for 2021:
To listen to my body/mind and rest when I need it
Don’t question my gut— listen to it the first time
Slow down. Even when things get hectic again make time to slow down
Be kind and patient with myself
Continue to do creative things that fill me with joy
Enjoy what I love- to not be embarrassed by it
To move my body when I want. Not to put pressure on a certain weight or body goal. This is the year of body positivity
Take care of my health
Stop worrying about what others think
Learning what I need and taking care of myself, physically and mentally
Saying no more! Don’t over extend myself
To stop putting in effort into relationships that aren’t reciprocated
