Jun 9 What Webtoons I'm Reading

Webtoons are very popular and I love the webtoons app! I personally recommend webtoons through the app to friends when they want to start getting into manga, manhwas or webtoons. So I thought for anyone who wants to get into them I’d share some of my favorites!

Completed

I don’t have that many completed webtoons because for some reason the way you read completed ones is a bit confusing to me but Azuras bride is short and so good! I’m currently reading another one by the same author and artist! Then I read my dear cold blooded king from the beginning to the end and loved it so so much! I forgot one i finished as it came out was Devil number 4 which was also really good!

Webtoons on a Break

There are a lot of Webtoons I love that are on a season break right now so I thought I’d list them here if you were interested in catching up on something that will be updating again soon! The ones with * are the ones I’m most excited for because I read a lot of webtoons

Let’s play— will start its third season soon and it is based around video games and is also a romance
Unloveable replacement *- will start its second season and I can’t wait! It’s about Chiko developing a romantic relationship with the pizza delivery girl
Sub Zero- will also be back for a second season! This is more of a romantic fantasy webtoon and it really interesting
Not Even Bones- will be back for a second season- this is more of a fantasy crime webtoon which was really amazing for the first season
Midnight Poppy Land *(same as Azuras Bride)- will be back for a second season soon I hope! It’s centered around romance and the mafia, which I’m a sucker for
Nice to Meet You- this will have a second season and I can’t wait because it left on a cliff hanger. But its such a cute webtoon
Realta is kinda back kinda not back but it has a lot about the constellations and is really good!

Ongoing Webtoons

So the webtoons that are on break usually are like seasons so the season of webtoons right now is also a good one so I thought I’d share what i’m currently reading

I love Yoo— I waited so long for this to come back and it might be my favorite webtoon ever! I was so happy it’s back
Remarried Empress- It is so good and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next! It’s about Empress Navier dealing with her husband having an affair and figuring out what she really wants in life
The witch and the bull— also a constellation themed webtoon with really incredible art
Secret Playlist— this is super cute and the art style is really unique. It’s about a girl who is hiding her internet music career and a pop star trying to befriend her
The Kiss bet— this one is super cute about a girl going through high school balancing love and life and figuring out what she wants
Men of the Harem is the same author as Remarried Empress— It is also a historical webtoon but about a woman becoming empress and staring a harem of men because why can’t an empress have one if an emperor can?
Like wind on a dry branch— this is also historical and so far really good with hints of magic in it
The newlywed Diary of the witch and the dragon- this is about a witch named wendy watching the man she loves marry someone else and having a one night stand with aiden who turns out to be a student of hers who has fallen for her
Covenant- this is a bit of religious and fantasy mixed together with a lot of action and not much romance
There’s love hidden in lies— the art is incredible with a similar vibe to ao haru ride. It’s about a fake relationship in high school and I’m loving it so far
Before we knew it— this one is really interesting about a young editor falling for her playboy writer
Unholy Blood is an action packed vampire story
Purple Hyacinth— this is another one I’m always waiting for! It’s a real mystery and it has incredible music paired with it.
Age Matters I’m really behind on but I need to catch up because it’s a really good romance webtoon
Crown of Feathers is a really incredible fantasy webtoon about phoenix riders

New webtoons

These are webtoons that are ongoing but I’ve recently started so I can’t give my opinion on them too much

Shadow Bride— a historical romance webtoon
So I married an Anti Fan- A manhwa that also has a kdrama out right now about a woman getting entangled with a kpop star she can’t stand
Dating with a tail— a young woman wakes up on her 29th birthday with a fox tail and has a year to find her soulmate before she turns into a fox!
Little Rain— I don’t know much about this only that the Male Lead looks like gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen and the art is stunning
His Majestys Proposal— this seems really funny so far but I’m not sure I’ll continue it
The Snake and the Flower— this might be my favorite of the ones that just started. The story is about a girl kept as a flower of the evil king and a blind musician entering their lives. So far it’s really amazing and I’m not sure where it will lead
Get schooled just came out but it basically has the male lead looking like Aizawa from MHA which is why i’m chewing it out
My gently raised beast— I believe this is a manhwa that’s been out for a while but I really like it so far! Its a bit historical but mostly fantasy!
Seasons of Blossom— another one about a fake relationship in high school
My roommate is a gumiho— I’m a sucker for anything with a fox in it
