A Trip to Boston

A Trip to Boston

In November I registered and went to the Boston Career Forum. If you're like me and had never heard of this let me explain. It's a conference where over two hundred companies who work between the US and Japan come together to look to hire young people graduating. They have them in many cities like Tokyo and Los Angeles but I went to the one in Boston.

The white tents are for interviews and the blue booths are for presentations and to talk to people. My advice if you're going to go to this is make sure you apply for companies ahead of time as well as make sure there are a significant amount of companies you're interested in. I went and only had two companies I wanted to see so I only spent a day there.

One of the main reasons I went to this conference and found it was because of my boyfriend. He was going to the conference at the beginning of his three months in the US. The two of us only went to look at a few companies and were able to spend time together in Boston for two days before I went back to school to finish my semester and work on my thesis.

While we were here we had to try the lobster. We stayed at a hotel near Faneuil Hall and would walk there for food and to look around. It's a little over priced but it was really good and the shopping around the food court is nice too.

I found this cute little CVS vending machine while we were walking around and it made me miss Japan. It's so cute!
