Cafe Diaries: Toast Luck

So recently I went and tried Toast Luck, in Harajuku. I saw a video about them on Facebook and was curious about what it was like. I thought it was good but I’m personally not dying to go back right away, but its a nice place to try.

Their outdoor seating area is super nice with couches and tables, but I’m not sure what it will be like to come here when it is raining or when the weather gets colder. They don’t have an alternative indoor seating so I’m curious what it will be like then. Or if at all, I couldn’t tell if this was just a popup or not.

So I ordered their bacon cheese sandwich because the more complicated ones seemed a bit overwhelming. Things like egg and shrimp or hamburger with pees. I’m also a little kid and like really simple things sometimes.

This sandwich seemed like it would be normal too but they put a very thin honey or maybe it was a syrup on it to sweeten it. It was a weird combination and threw me off a bit, but in the end I got used to it and it was good. I know it doesn’t look fancy or amazing but I liked it.

So I found it really hard to find this place. It’s a part of this office complex and there isn’t really a sign for it. There was a map in the office complex door which was how I found it but it wasn’t very obvious or well known.

There is a side street at the end of the road you walk down, this is the sign on the corner of the street you should walk down. It takes you to the back entrance which is a big drive way and their outdoor seating. This back entrance seems easier to get to then through the office space.
