Cafe Diaries: Momosan Ramen and Sake Bar
I recently tried Momosan Ramen and Sake Bar because I heard great things about it. After living in Japan and my fiancé, who is japanese, moving to New York we’ve made a list of Japanese restaurants that we want to try so here is the first of many and eventually I will make a list of our top favorites.
The bar atmosphere here is so fun, a bit crowded, but it’s a really popular date spot from what I can tell. The staff were really friendly and fast which is great.
I had the pork tonkotsu ramen and it was really good. The meat they use is not a typical pork that you would get at a ramen restaurant in Japan, but I prefer this because I don’t like fatty meat. I thought the broth was really creamy and the noodles were really good. I hope to bring my fiancé here to add his opinion to this blog post.
