I really thought that now by week ten I had a good rhythm down with quarantine. Wake up at 7:30 take care of the horses, workout, breakfast, work, more horse stuff. Disinfect everything coming into the house, wear a mask outside and gloves, and wash your hands like crazy. Things were starting to feel like normal again, which is hard to say. Until! The universe decided to throw things out the window again…
My mom started having stomach cramps friday which then turned to intense pain on her upper right side on Saturday. All of saturday night she could not stop throwing up and could not hold water down. Sunday morning my dad took her to the emergency room hoping to go in with her…. nope. She was admitted and sunday night she had emergency surgery to remove her infected gallbladder. She was perfectly healthy, but apparently like the appendix your gallbladder can shut down.
Luckily, she came home the next day but she is still on bed rest and cannot do much for the next two months so I’m in charge of the animals by myself. I’ve been so exhausted from doing the animals, laundry, dishes, cooking, working out and nursing. I feel like this is practice for becoming a mom.
On a brighter note, my family friend rescued and hatched these baby ducks that had been abandoned by their mom. She named them jack and diane and she will raise them and hopefully they’ll just stay around and live on her farm. But aren’t they so so cute!
Other than all of that I’ve been working on blogposts, instagrams and youtube. I’ve also been planning a new business idea I’m so excited about and I can’t wait for it to work out.
I’ve also been watching a lot of TV. I am rewatching avatar the last airbender on netflix, which is even better now that I’m an adult. I also just finished sweet magnolias, it reminds me of the gilmore girls and I adore that. I hope there will be a second season. I’m about to go on a studio Ghibli marathon and start Hollywood. What have you been watching?
I’ve also been gardening a lot and I love it! Its a great chance for me to listen to podcasts and music. I’ve been loving press send podcast, between neens and deans, second life, papaya podcast, and realization podcast. Do you like podcasts? what are you listening to?
